Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure. We suggest dinner on your own atMunicipal House. Built at the site of the former Royal Court in 1912,this beautiful Art Nouveau building houses several elegant restaurants, cafes, and bars, andits splendid decorations make it one of the jewels of Prague architecture.

This morning enjoy a tour of Prague.Prague has a long and colorful history. The city today is a wonder to behold, with beautiful architecture, lush green hills, and graceful bridges spanning the Vltava River. Start with the panoramic drive to Wenceslas Square, the Strahov Stadium and Castle Square. During your walking tour, see the Royal Castle of Hradcany with its gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Church, and Loretto Church. Walk across the famous Charles Bridge, dating back to the 1400’s, to view the Jewish Ghetto and see the world-famous Astronomical Clock. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Transfer on your own to the Prague train station and take a picturesque train ride to city of Krakow. Upon arrival to Krakow, make your own way to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

This morning, enjoy a tour of Krakow. Begin your tour by visiting the Jewish District of Kazimierz, then a short drive will take you up the Wawel Hill, the embodiment of Poland’s former monarchical glory. On its summit is the Royal Castle (admission included) and 14th century Royal Cathedral (admission included), which hosted nearly all the Polish monarchy’s coronations and funerals. Descend the hill and stroll along Kanonicza and Grodzka Streets to reach Collegium Maius (Great College), the oldest building of the Academia Cracoviensis. After visiting the charming Gothic courtyard, continue to the Main Market Square. This bustling heart of the city is the perfect place for picking up souvenirs, especially at theSukiennice or Cloth Hall with has been the local market place for centuries. Complete your tour by visiting St. Mary’s church (admission included), where the stunning medieval altar sculpted by VeitStoss is located and a bugle call sounds towards the four corners of the world every hour on the hour. Pay a solemn visit to the Auschwitz/Birkenau concentration camp (admission included), site of Nazi atrocities against European Jews, Poles, Romas, and other groups that has become a symbol of the Holocaust.See some of the surviving prison blocks that now serve as museum exhibits, watch a documentary film, and visit the memorialto reflect and remember. Krakow to Warsaw

Transfer on your own to the Krakow railway station for your train ride to Warsaw. Upon arrival, make your own way to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure; we suggest a visit to the POLIN Museum, dedicated to the history of Polish Jews, or a visit to the Wedel Factory to enjoy Poland’s finest chocolate. (B)

The morning enjoy a city tour to see all the main monuments and sights of Warsaw including Old Town and New Town, the Royal Route with its aristocratic residences and famous statues, historic sightssuch as the Ghetto Memorial, the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Chopin’s Monument, concluding in the lovelyLazienki Park. Lazienki Park is one of the most beautiful parts of Warsaw and a favored places for walks for Varsovians and tourists. This romantic, landscaped park includes views of the Palace on the Water, together with various other palaces, pavilions, an amphitheater and two orangeries. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore and admire the town’s marvelous Baroque architecture. (B)
