Quito - Galapagos Islands - Arrival

Deluxe Hotels: Pikaia Lodge or similar accommodations

This morning, board an early flight from Quito. Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, you will have access to the VIP lounge. A local representative will meet you and escort you to the Itabaca Channel for a short ferry crossing to Santa Cruz Island, followed by a 50-minute scenic trip by private transport to Pikaia Lodge. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant or by the pool then, later in the afternoon, meet for a complimentary welcome cocktail. (L,D)

Discover Santa Cruz Island by Land

Your day’s activities will be determined by weather conditions. You may choose two or three activities including a walk through the electric green Scalesia Forest, a visit to El Chato Tortoise Reserve, a journey inside underground lava tunnels or a fun-filled afternoon at Tortuga Bay Beach. This morning, board your private luxury yacht for a day of exploring Santa Fe Island. The day offers hiking or snorkeling activities until midday when a traditional Ecuadorian lunch buffet will be served as the yacht sails to your next point of interest. Just before sunset, your yacht will sail back to your port as you relax on deck, join a discussion with your guides, or watch seabirds and dolphins in their natural habitat. (B,L,D)

According to your flight time, you will meet your local representative for a private transfer to the airport to return to Quito. Upon arrival, you may board your next flight or transfer to the train station by private car to continue on to your next destination. (B)
