Mystical Reykjavik City Escape
Experience the world's most northern capital city of Reykjavik in Iceland. Tour the city and visit the presidential residence at Bessastaoir, the famous town of Hafnarfjorour, fishing harbors, and enjoy breathtaking views from Perlan. In the evening, you will be able to view the illustrious Northern Lights. On day two, enjoy a full-day tour visiting Nesjavellir, Pingvellir Noational Park, the Gullfoss Waterfall, and the hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. The next morning, travel to the Blue Lagoon for a refreshing swim in the 98-102 degree Fahrenheit mineral-rich water. The Blue Lagoon is known for its healing properties with natural active ingredients such as mineral salts, silica, and blue green algae.

Upon arrival you will transfer by airport shuttle to your hotel in Reykjavik.

Reykjavik

After breakfast, join your tour of Reykjavik and its surroundings. Explore the world's most northern capital. Visit the presidential residence at Bessastaðir, as well as Hafnarfjörður, the town where “hidden people” and humans live together in harmony. You will also see old fishing harbors and enjoy the magnificent view from Perlan, built on the city's hot water supply tank. In the evening, you will have a chance to see the Northern Lights - on a guided Northern Lights hunt. (B)

Reykjavik – Golden Circle
First Class: Reykjavik Centrum Hotel or similar accommodations
After breakfast, depart on a Golden Circle Tour passing some must see sights of Iceland. Start by visiting Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area. From there, continue to the Þingvellir National Park where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in 930. Then, the beautiful Gullfoss Waterfall will await you. Your journey will continue towards the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. Proceed to Skálholt Church, the ancient seat of the Icelandic bishops before returning to Reykjavik. (B)

Reykjavik – Blue Lagoon
First Class: Reykjavik Centrum Hotel or similar accommodations
After breakfast, depart on an excursion to the Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal pool in the middle of a large lava field and an oasis that owes its existence to a nearby geothermal power plant. Stop for a refreshing swim in the inviting, rejuvenating, and pleasantly warm mineral-rich water (98-102°F), reputed for its healing properties. An indoor pool and geothermal sauna are also on site. Bathing in this surreal environment is a unique experience no one should miss. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients like mineral salts, silica, and blue green algae help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life (bathing fee to be paid on the spot). Reyjavik – Return
You will be transferred by shuttle to the Reykjavik airport to catch a flight to your next destination. (B)
