Arrival - Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival at Rome Airport, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure to get acquainted with this magnificent city.

Rome

Begin your day with an unforgettable guided small group tour of Vatican City, where you'll marvel at the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, explore the historic treasures of the Vatican Museums, and step inside the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica. This afternoon, consider further exploring the city with a visit to the Colosseum or another must-see landmark.

Rome-Tuscany

In the morning, pick up your rental vehicle and set off for a scenic drive into the heart of Tuscany. As you journey through the rolling countryside, take in the picturesque landscapes of vineyards, olive groves, and medieval hilltop towns. Consider stopping in charming villages along the way to experience the region's rich history and culinary delights. Upon arrival at your destination, settle in and enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Today consider a scenic drive in and around Siena immersing yourself in the enchanting Chianti hills, where rolling vineyards, ancient olive groups, and iconic cypress trees create a captivating backdrop. Perhaps you will stop in the picturesque walled village of San Gimignano, celebrated for its medieval architecture and towering structures that frame breathtaking valley vistas.

Tuscany - Florence

Depart Tuscany for a day of discovery, exploring this beautiful region. Stop in Pisa, home to the iconic Leaning Tower, where you can admire the striking Piazza dei Miracoli, including the Cathedral and Baptistery. Then, continue to Lucca, a hidden gem known for its well-preserved Renaissance walls, charming piazzas, and the beautiful Guinigi Tower, crowned with ancient oak trees. Stroll through it atmospheric streets, perhaps stopping for a taste of the city's renowned local cuisine. After a day of exploration, journey onward to Florence, where you'll check in and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Florence

Today, we highly recommend you to explore “The birthplace of Renaissance” on foot. Begin your self-guided touring with breathtakingly beautiful Medici Chapels, the final resting place of the famous and powerful Medici family. Continue with the Uffizi Gallery to admire priceless Renaissance art. Designed by Giorgio Vasari and constructed in the 16th century, Uffizi houses a wide selection of art pieces from 18th to the 20th centuries. Italian artists such as Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raffaello are all represented here. Bargello Museum is the Italy’s first national museum a must-see in Florence and quite remarkable with giant David sculpture by Donatello. You may wish to finish off the day on the Renaioli’s sunset boat rides for a romantic escape. Overnight in Florence.

Florence – Bologna - Venice

In the morning, depart for Venice and visit Bologna en route. You will drive approximately 1-hour and 50-minutes to Bologna, a lively, foodie and historic capital in northern Italy. Explore medieval and Renaissance structures on foot, taste Bolognian-style gelato and world-famous Bolognese specialties and regional sparkling wine. You will drive another 1-hour and 45- minutes to Venice. Upon arrival, drop off your rental vehicle and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Venice

This morning, join an optional private walking tour of Venice. First, delight in the palatial architecture of St. Mark’s Square, and enter the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica to admire its famous mosaics. Then seek out the Floating City’s most sought after sights on foot, including iconic landmarks the Rialto Bridge and the House of Marco Polo. Get a taste of local life at the Rialto Fish Market and explore historic neighbourhoods like Cannaregio. End the tour by soaking up the scenery on a memorable gondola ride. The afternoon is at leisure or consider joining a tour to Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
