Santa Cruz Escapade

Touch down at Baltra Island's pioneering eco-airport, the world's first built to run on renewable energy, before a private transfer crosses the Itabaca Channel toward Santa Cruz's highlands. Here, giant tortoises roam free in their natural habitat, ancient and unhurried against the volcanic landscape. A choice awaits between wandering through a natural lava tunnel or exploring the twin sunken craters known as Los Gemelos, where Darwin finches, Galápagos doves, and cattle egrets move through scalesia forest. The journey continues to Puerto Ayora, settling into island rhythm for the nights ahead.

A private yacht departs for a full day exploring either North Seymour or Bartolomé Island, accompanied by an expert naturalist guide. North Seymour is small, flat, and teeming with life — nesting colonies of magnificent frigatebirds display their theatrical inflated red throat pouches, blue-footed boobies perform their signature courtship dance, and sea lions command every available surface with supreme indifference. Alternatively, Bartolomé delivers the Galápagos' most iconic panoramic viewpoint, its summit hike rewarding with sweeping views over volcanic terrain and the famous Pinnacle Rock, followed by snorkeling in its surrounding waters, where Galápagos penguins dart through crystal-clear channels alongside swimmers.
