Santiago, Chile - Arrival

Upon arrival in Santiago, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where your local representative will assist you with check-in and provide you with details regarding your itinerary.

Discover Santiago

Santiago is a mixture of old and new and your tour through this immense city will introduce you to this unique characteristic. Your guide will take you through the Plaza de Armas, the main square of the city, to see the cathedral, post office and city hall while learning about the origins of the city. Your next stop is the civic neighborhood and the grounds of La Moneda Palace. Afterwards, you will drive through some of the old neighborhoods of Santiago such as Republica and Concha y Toro. Later, visit the eastern part of the city to see the modern side of life. (B)

Santiago - Puerto Varas

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Puerto Varas (ticket not included). Upon arrival to Puerto Montt airport, you will be met and transferred to your Puerto Varas hotel. (B)

Start your trip by visiting the city of Llanquihe, famous for their traditional and tasty sausages. This area is part of the ancient Route of the Settlers and is the place where the Maullin River is born. You will see the German Colonists Memorial and then head towards the city of Frutillar. This city is a beautiful village, recalling the quaint style of old Bavaria, where colonizers first arrived in the country. Walk around the old German-style homes, admirning the gardens and incomparable views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. You also have the option to visit the German Colonial Museum, which portrays the life of the settlers, and observe the Teatro del Lago, which holds the annual Frutillar Musical Week, a summer celebration of classical music from Chile and abroad. Puerto Varas - Bariloche, Argentina

Today you will depart Chile and head to Argentina via an Andean Lake crossing. Begin your tour in Chile, following the boarder of Petrohue and Llanquihue Lake. Throughout your journey, you will be able to spot the imposing Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. You will arrive at Vicente Perez National Park where you will visit Petrohue Falls (entrance not included). Set sail across Todos los Santos Lake to Peulla, enjoying the unmatchable scenery along the way. Upon arrival to the ecological village, enjoy some free time for an optional lunch before boarding a bus to Puerto Fr’as where you will pass through customs into Argentina. Continue through the Andes Mountains, following the road to Puerto Fr’as to navigate the lake to Puerto Alegre. Here you will board a bus to Puerto Blest. From here, you will navigate the astoundingly beautiful Nahuel Huapi Lake, arriving in Puerto Pa–uelo. A bus will be waiting to transport you to the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, a fascinating city featuring ski resorts, exceptional shopping, fabulous restaurants and nightlife. (B)

Discover Bariloche

Today, you will discover the picturesque town of Bariloche and its surroundings, starting with a drive along Nahuel Huapi Lake up to Bonita Beach. Later, you will arrive at the foothill of Cerro Campanario where a chair lift can take you to the top of the hill to enjoy the panoramic view. Continuing your trip, you will pass by the San Pedro Peninsula to reach the Llao Llao Peninsula where it is possible to see the renowned hotel and the local San Bernardo Church. Your next stop will be a natural lookout point followed by a trip around El Trebol Lagoon before your return to Bariloche. (B)

Bariloche - Buenos Aires

Following breakfast, you will be transferred at the appropriate time to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B)

Discover Buenos Aires

Spend the morning exploring the exciting city of Buenos Aires. Your first stop will be in the Plaza de May to visit the Cathedral and City Hall. After, head toward the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo, characterized by its old colonial houses and cobblestoned streets. Later on, you will visit the neighborhood of La Boca in the south of the city to see the colorful zinc houses that make up the area. Next, continue to Puerto Madero, the old port of the city and now one of the most exclusive gastronomic and residential areas in Buenos Aires. You will continue with a visit to Palermo, with around 740 acres of landscaped gardens. Finally, your last stop will be Recoleta where you will find the Recoleta Cemetery. Following your tour, return to your hotel for the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. (B)

Buenos Aires - Return

Enjoy a final Argentinian breakfast before transferring to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
