Itinerary

Day
1

Day 1: Santiago: First Night in the Capital

Arrive into Santiago and transfer to your hotel in Barrio Lastarria — one of the city's most quietly elegant neighborhoods, its streets lined with galleries, independent restaurants, and Belle Époque architecture. Take the afternoon at your own pace before an early evening visit to the National Astronomical Observatory at Cerro Calán, where an astronomer leads a private stargazing session beneath the Santiago sky. It is an understated beginning — an introduction to the theme that will deepen considerably over the days ahead. Dinner follows at one of Lastarria's finest tables, the city's energy settling around you as the journey begins.

Day
2

Day 2: Santiago: City, Culture & Cosmos

A private morning tour takes in the grand Palacio de La Moneda, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art — one of Latin America's most compelling collections of ancient textiles, ceramics, and ceremonial objects. The afternoon is yours: explore Lastarria's neighborhood at your own pace, or take a car up to Cerro San Cristóbal for the city panorama. As evening falls, dinner at a celebrated Santiago restaurant closes your final night in the capital before tomorrow's flight west — deep into the Pacific.

Day
3

Day 3: Easter Island: Arrival on the Edge of the World

Few arrivals anywhere prepare you for this one. A short flight from Santiago delivers you to one of the most remote inhabited islands on earth — 3,700 kilometers of open Pacific in every direction. Transfer to your hotel, take in the scale and silence of the place, and spend a gentle first afternoon absorbing the landscape before a private guided introduction to the island's history and the extraordinary story of the Rapa Nui people. Tonight, step outside after dark — Easter Island has virtually no light pollution, and the southern sky overhead is immediate and overwhelming. This is stargazing before the telescopes even arrive.

Day
4

Day 4: Easter Island: Moai, Myth & the Polynesian Sky

A full day in private with an expert guide, moving through the island's most extraordinary sites — Rano Raraku, the volcanic quarry where the moai were carved and many still stand half-finished in the hillside; Ahu Tongariki, the iconic restored ceremonial platform facing the sea; and Anakena Beach, the island's only white-sand cove and the site of first Polynesian settlement. The connection between the moai and the stars runs throughout — many platforms are aligned with celestial events, and your guide brings that astronomical heritage to life in context. In the evening, a private stargazing session with high-powered telescopes at one of the island's traditional observatory sites, the Milky Way arching overhead in a clarity that is genuinely difficult to describe.

Day
5

Day 5: Easter Island: Craters, Cliffs & Open Sky

A morning ride out to Rano Kau — the dramatic volcanic crater on the island's southwestern tip, its interior lake a vivid contrast to the surrounding Pacific cliffs — followed by time at Orongo, the ceremonial village perched on the crater rim where the island's Birdman cult held its annual rites. The afternoon is unhurried: there is time simply to sit with this place, which rewards stillness as few destinations do. A second evening beneath Easter Island's extraordinary skies — whether a return to the telescope or simply lying back on dark ground far from any artificial light — deepens the experience before tomorrow's departure.

Day
6

Day 6: Easter Island: Final Morning & Flight to Santiago

A gentle final morning on the island before the afternoon flight returns you to Santiago. Use the time to revisit a favorite corner of the island, take a slow breakfast with the volcanic skyline beyond the window, or simply absorb the quiet before the journey resumes. Easter Island does not release its visitors easily — and that, in the end, is the point. Land in Santiago as the evening settles, transfer to your hotel, and let the city's energy ease you back into the mainland — a good dinner, a comfortable bed, and the Atacama waiting beyond tomorrow's horizon.

Day
7

Day 7: San Pedro de Atacama: Into the Desert

Land at Calama and transfer across the altiplano as the Atacama unfolds — copper hills, wind-carved canyons, shimmering salt flats, and the first distant volcanoes marking the Andean horizon. Arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, the desert's adobe-built heart, and check into your lodge as the afternoon light turns extraordinary. Spend the evening acclimatizing to the altitude gently — a quiet dinner, an early night, and the knowledge that what lies ahead over the next two days represents some of the most dramatic terrain on the planet.

Day
8

Day 8: Salt Flats, Flamingos, Geysers & Moon Valley

The day begins before sunrise with a private transfer to El Tatio — the world's third-largest geothermal field — where more than eighty geysers erupt simultaneously into the freezing Andean morning, steam columns catching the first light as the sun clears the ridge. Breakfast on-site before returning to San Pedro. The afternoon belongs to the Valle de la Luna — dunes, ridges, salt caverns, and formations sculpted over millennia into something that bears no comparison to anywhere else on earth. A private sundowner as the desert shifts through gold, amber, and shadow brings the day to a close before the evening's centerpiece: a private astronomy session beneath some of the clearest skies on the planet, nebulae and distant galaxies resolved in sharp focus as the Atacama delivers its finest offering.

Day
9

Day 9: Salar, Lagoons & Farewell to the Desert

A final full day across the Atacama's most spectacular terrain. The vast Salar de Atacama opens first — Chile's largest salt flat, its crystalline surface framed by the active cone of Lascar volcano. Laguna Chaxa follows, where three flamingo species feed in shallow mineral-rich waters within the National Flamingo Reserve, before the ascent to the Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons — electric-blue, ringed by volcanic slopes at over 4,000 meters. A traditional Altiplanic lunch in Socaire, then back to San Pedro for a final evening in the desert — a last dram by the fire, the volcanic skyline fading to dark, the stars returning overhead one final time.

Day
10

Day 10: Farewell, Atacama

A final morning in the desert — the volcanic skyline, the silence, the quality of light that belongs only to this place. Transfer to Calama Airport for the flight to Santiago and your onward connection home, the journey closing as it began: in motion, with the southern sky somewhere overhead, and a Chile that rewards the curious at every turn.
