1
Arrival - São Paulo
Welcome to São Paulo! Upon arrival to Guarulhos International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and will be driven to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

2
São Paulo
After enjoying breakfast, get ready to explore the concrete jungle of São Paulo. On your tour you will visit the traditional places, beginning with the oldest train station in the city. Continue towards the Terraço Itália, one of the most charming buildings in the old town. Next, take time to see the Municipal Theater and the old town center. After your walk, head inside Catedral da Sé followed by a visit to the Liberdade neighborhood. Later you will visit the financial center of São Paulo and end your tour in Ibirapuera Park to visit the museum. (B)

São Paulo – Pantanal
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Campo Grande (ticket not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Pantanal lowlands, enjoying local flora and fauna along the way, before checking-in at your lodge. Take a late afternoon hike with scenic views of the surrounding area and enjoy watching sunset from an observation tower. After dinner, take a nighttime walk to observe the night sky in the southern hemisphere and enjoy the nocturnal sounds of nature. (B,D)

Pantanal
Embark on a photo safari in a specially adapted, open-sided vehicle. Pay close attention while you observe the peculiarities and contrasts in vegetation as well as the large variety of wildlife species that you will see along the way. Following your safari, board a canoe for a chance to spot the aquatic wildlife and vegetation, maybe even catch a piranha! Enjoy lunch close to the river (weather permitting) before hiking to Howler Monkey Tower for views of sunset. (B,L,D)

Pantanal
Today hike the Rondon Trail to the Tuiuiu Tower for unimaginable views. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by horseback riding through Pantanal to access the more difficult to reach areas. Return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy a fireside lecture or slide presentation on the unique ecosystem of Pantanal. (B,L,D)

Enjoy a wildlife safari, taken in 4x4 open vehicles, revealing different landscapes in our search for wildlife. Be prepared for surprises along the way!

Pantanal – Rio de Janeiro
Before you depart the Pantanal, rise early for a sunrise hike followed by breakfast at the lodge. Later, you will be transferred to Campo Grande where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight to Rio. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the remainder of the evening at your leisure. (B)

Rio de Janeiro
Today witness the world-famous Christ the Redeemer Statue up close. Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, arrive at the foot of Corcovado Hill where you will embark on a small train to climb the mountainside until you reach the summit, the statue, and astounding views of Rio. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. (B)

Rio de Janeiro
Today is yours at leisure to explore this vibrant and bustling city at your own pace. You may want to consider an optional tour of old Rio and the Tomorrow Museum. This unique walking tour will give you a sense of the legends and stories woven into the streets of Rio. You’ll visit many interesting sites such as São Bento Monastery and the Imperial Palace, not to mention the Olympic park. Your walk will end at the Tomorrow Museum where you can visit the exhibits that will inspire you to contemplate how we can preserve our future. (B)

Rio – Foz do Iguaçu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu (ticket not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in before commencing your tour of the Brazilian Iguazu Falls. En route to the magnificent falls, you will drive through lush, subtropical vegetation and delightful scenery. Walk the many trails to the various platforms overlooking the 240 falls that make up the mighty Foz do Iguaçu. (B)

Iguazu Falls
Today is yours to explore the rest of Iguazu Falls. Consider taking a tour to the Argentinian side of the falls where you will cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge, with lovely views of Iguazu Canyon, en route to Iguazu National Park in Argentina. Upon arrival, take the ecological train to reach the Devil’s Throat station. Walk to the highest point of the falls and enjoy the impressive views of the cataratas (falls) up close. Finally, you'll visit the highlight of the park when you reach the suspended platform at the very brink of the Devil’s Throat, the largest of Iguazu Falls. (B)

Foz do Iguaçu – Departure
Enjoy a final Brazilian breakfast before checking out of your hotel and being transferred to the airport where you will check-in for your onward flight. (B)
