For those channeling their inner Indiana Jones, embark on an adventure into the ancient jungle to uncover concealed temples.In the morning, embark on a 77 km drive from Siem Reap through vast countryside to reach Beng Mealea temple. Beng Mealea offers a serene alternative free from the hustle and bustle of Angkor's crowds. The sprawling 1 sq-km site is mostly reclaimed by lush vegetation. After a delightful lunch (for your own account)at a local restaurant, proceed to the renowned Banteay Srei temple, often referred to as the "fabled pink temple of women" due to its construction from pink sandstone—a tribute to the beauty of women. Conclude your temple exploration with a brief visit to the nearby Banteay Samre temple before returning to the comfort of your hotel.
