Arrival - Siem Reap

Welcome to Siem Reap! Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and will be driven to the accomomdation of your choice. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Siem Reap - Angkor Thom City and Angkor Wat

Meet your guide in the morning and get ready to explore the monumental magnificence of Angkor Thom – the last capital of the great Khmer Empire. You will visit the sprawling Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the enchanting Bayon. This 12th century masterpiece lies at the very center of Angkor Thom City and is an archaeological wonder of symmetry and grandeur. After lunch, you will visit Angkor Wat, arguably the largest religious building in the world, with a volume of stone equaling that of the Cheops pyramid in Egypt. It is unlike all the other Khmer temples in that it faces west, and is inspired by 12th Century Hinduism.

Siem Reap

Today offers a plethora of choices! You can either unwind and enjoy a leisurely day or opt for some thrilling alternatives. Consider indulging in a half-day cooking class or venture off the well-trodden path to explore the remote Banteay Chhmar, a hidden gem away from the tourist crowds. For those channeling their inner Indiana Jones, embark on an adventure into the ancient jungle to uncover concealed temples.In the morning, embark on a 77 km drive from Siem Reap through vast countryside to reach Beng Mealea temple. Beng Mealea offers a serene alternative free from the hustle and bustle of Angkor's crowds. The sprawling 1 sq-km site is mostly reclaimed by lush vegetation. After a delightful lunch (for your own account)at a local restaurant, proceed to the renowned Banteay Srei temple, often referred to as the "fabled pink temple of women" due to its construction from pink sandstone—a tribute to the beauty of women. Conclude your temple exploration with a brief visit to the nearby Banteay Samre temple before returning to the comfort of your hotel.

Siem Reap - Departure

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the transfer to Siem Reap International Airport where you will check-in for your onward flight.
