Upon arrival in Stockholm, meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel for check-in and the remainder of the evening at your leisure. We recommend taking some time to explore the small and winding alleyways of Stockholm – the perfect area to find a suitable restaurant for the evening.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring at your own pace. We recommend taking a food tour of Sweden in the oldest part of the city, Gamla Stan. During your walking tour, you’ll visit new market halls and some of the trendiest dining spots in town. You’ll have the opportunity to sample an assortment of local cheeses, a selection of game meats, seasonal fruits and vegetables and some local specialties. (B)

This morning, meet your driver for a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Kiruna (ticket not included). Upon arrival in Kiruna, you will be met and transferred to the famous Icehotel for check-in and the remainder of the evening at your leisure to explore this fascinating, frozen hotel. (B)

Your day will begin with a nice, hot cup of lingonberry juice in bed followed by breakfast and a morning sauna. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the hotel’s beautiful surroundings or take part in an optional tour. We highly recommend a fun-filled afternoon with friendly, energetic huskies with a dog sled ride through the Swedish Lapland. Be the passenger or the musher of your own dog sled and watch the awesome power of these four-legged athletes pull you through the powdery snow. (B)

Transfer to the Kiruna train station this morning for your journey to Narvik (ticket included). Today you will head to Norway on scenic train ride past Abisko National Park and the Mountain Kebnekaise. You will also be able to catch a glimpse of the stunning Lofoten Island. From here, board your bus for the remaining journey to Tromso, the Paris of the North! Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure. (B)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before enjoy the day at your leisure in the Gateway to the Arctic. We recommend a visit to the Arctic Cathedral with its large, angular form and light color – reminiscent of an iceberg. Tonight would be the ideal night to set out in search of the elusive Northern Lights. Your guide will lead you to a remote area near Tromso, reducing the light pollution from the city and optimizing your chance to witness this amazing phenomenon. (B)

Enjoy a final Scandinavian breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
