Lulea - Arrival

Superior Tourist Class: Brandon Lodge or similar accommodations

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Brandon Lodge, located on an island off the coast of the Swedish Laplands. The lodge overlooks the frozen sea and the numerous islets and skerries of the Lulea archipelago. Your accommodation for the next few nights will be in the cozy cabins which Brandon Lodge provides. Tonight, enjoy a three-course dinner in the lodge’s hotel. Overnight in Lulea. (D)

Hovercraft to Lulea Archipelago Pack Ice

Superior Tourist Class: Brandon Lodge or similar accommodations

Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the lodge. This morning you will explore Lulea’s frozen archipelago by hovercraft for about 2 hours. If you’re feeling courageous, you are welcome to take a stroll on the pack ice of the archipelago where you may be lucky enough to spot sea eagles or a seal. The rest of the day is free to explore at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Lulea. (B,D)

Journey to the Treehotel

First Class: Treehotel or similar accommodations

Breakfast will be served at the lodge, afterwards a transfer awaits to take you to the railway station in Lulea. Board your train to Boden where you will be met upon arrival and transferred to the fabulous Treehotel. Located in Harads, near the Lule River, a village with only 600 inhabitants, a restaurant, shop and guest house. When you arrive at the Treehotel, you will check-in at Britta’s Pensionat, then it’s a short stroll through beautiful nature to your tree room. Overnight in Harads. (B,D)

First Class: Treehotel or similar accommodations

After breakfast, you have your morning at leisure to discover the peaceful and tranquil scenery surrounding the hotel. In the afternoon, prepare for your husky safari. Experience nature and the traditional Lappish way and enjoy a fun adventure with these amazing Arctic athletes. Return to the Treehotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure. If you’re lucky, you may spot the Northern Lights dancing right above you, completing your Lappish fairytale! Overnight in Harads. (B)

Move out of your Tree room and settle in at the pension. You will find the charms and hospitality of this home away from home quite relaxing. Enjoy the day at leisure and, later, dinner. Overnight in Harads. (B,D)
