Arrival - Tokyo
Welcome to Tokyo! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your private driver and transferred to your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. If you’re feeling up to it, explore the bustling streets of Shibuya with its neon lights and famous crossing or take a quiet evening stroll around Asakusa for a glimpse of the historic Tokyo.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Tokyo. Choose to explore on your own or join one of our recommended optional tours. Visit the majestic Meiji Shrine in the morning before the crowds arrive, then explore the eclectic streets of Harajuku. Later, step into the historic Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa and finish your day with a breathtaking view of the city from Tokyo Skytree. Don’t miss shopping in upscale Ginza and sampling fresh seafood at Tsukiji Market for a taste of Tokyo’s culinary scene.

Today, delve into a different side of Tokyo. Consider starting your day with a visit to a sumo stable for a thrilling morning practice session or take part in a Kaiseki cooking class to learn the secrets of Japanese cuisine. In the evening, join a guided street food tour in Ebisu, tasting delicious local specialties. Alternatively, embark on a full-day trip to Nikko for a blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty, exploring Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls.

Tokyo - Kanazawa
In the morning, you will be transferred to Tokyo Station to board the Hokuriku Shinkansen (train tickets available on request). The 2.5-hour journey to Kanazawa offers scenic views of Japan's countryside. Upon arrival, a private driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, perhaps with a leisurely stroll through the atmospheric Higashi Chaya District, home to historic tea houses and charming streets.

Spend the day exploring Kanazawa’s exquisite attractions. Visit the stunning Kenroku-en Garden early to enjoy its serene beauty. Next, head to the elegant Kanazawa Castle and then wander through the Nagamachi Samurai District, exploring the Nomura Family Samurai House for a glimpse into the city’s feudal past. In the afternoon, visit the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art or experience a traditional tea ceremony at one of Kanazawa’s historic teahouses.

Kanazawa - Kyoto
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kanazawa Station for your limited express train to Kyoto (train tickets available on request). The 2-hour journey will take you through scenic landscapes before arriving in Japan's cultural capital. Upon arrival, a private driver will transfer you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure; we recommend either a leisurely stroll through the traditional Gion district to soak in Kyoto's enchanting atmosphere or visiting the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine at sunset for a unique and tranquil perspective.

Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surrounding Higashiyama District, where quaint streets and traditional shops create an old-world charm. Then, venture into the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and visit Tenryu-ji Temple for its beautiful gardens. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the Philosopher’s Path, passing by the Silver Pavilion (Ginkaku-ji). In the afternoon, explore Nishiki Market for an authentic culinary adventure, and cap off the day with a traditional tea ceremony.

Kyoto - Day Trip to Nara
Embark on a full-day tour to Nara, Japan’s ancient capital. Visit the majestic Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha, and explore Nara Park, where you can interact with the city’s famous friendly deer. Continue to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, known for its stunning bronze lanterns, and explore Naramachi, the former merchant district filled with historic buildings. In the late afternoon, return to Kyoto for a relaxing evening.

Kyoto - Hakone
In the morning, you will be transferred to Kyoto Station to board the shinkansen to Odawara (tickets available on request). The 2.5- to 3-hour train ride brings you to the gateway of Hakone. Upon arrival, a private driver will transfer you to your Hakone accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat ride on Lake Ashi, offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding nature. Afterwards, ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Volcano for an adventurous experience. Spend the evening relaxing in an onsen (hot spring) at your hotel.

Hakone - Departure
In the morning, you will be transferred to Odawara Station to catch a train to Tokyo or directly to Narita/Haneda Airport for your departure.
