Welcome to Vancouver! Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and driven approximately 30 minutes to the accommodation of your choice. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Vancouver - Whistler
Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the approximate 2-hour transfer to your hotel in Whistler. Upon arriving in Whistler, take a leisurely stroll through Whistler Village to get acquainted with the area, enjoy some shopping, and dine at one of the many excellent restaurants.

Spend your day exploring Whistler's outdoor adventures. Start with a scenic ride on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola for breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Consider hiking one of the numerous trails such as the High Note Trail on Whistler Mountain or the Garibaldi Lake Trail. For a relaxing experience with hot baths and cold plunges, unwind at the Scandinave Spa. Finish the day with a hearty meal at a local restaurant and enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Whistler Village.

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the approximate 2-hour transfer back to Vancouver. After arriving from Whistler, explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Vancouver by visiting Granville Island for unique shops and waterfront dining, then take a walk or bike ride around the scenic Stanley Park Seawall.

Today consider taking a day trip to Victoria. Start with a ferry ride through the picturesque Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island, then explore the stunning Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre floral display. Visit the Royal BC Museum to learn about the natural and human history of the region, and take a stroll around the charming Inner Harbour, where you can see the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel and the British Columbia Parliament Buildings. Enjoy a meal at one of Victoria's waterfront restaurants before returning to Vancouver in the evening. If you prefer to stay in Vancouver, visit the Vancouver Art Gallery, explore the historic Gastown district, and enjoy panoramic views from the Vancouver Lookout.

Check out of your hotel and depart early in the morning aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey, you'll witness dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons framed by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like landscapes of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes in the evening as the train travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake, arriving in the town of Kamloops. (B, L)

Early in the morning, your journey continues eastward to the majestic Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. You'll experience ever-changing scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes, and through the remarkable tunnels that are part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today's highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels, and the iconic glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Begin your day with a peaceful canoe ride on the turquoise waters of Lake Louise or hike the scenic Lake Agnes Tea House Trail for breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
