Victoria Train Station - Arrival
Upon arrival to Victoria train station, make your way to the Rovos Rail departures where you will begin your four-day journey through one of the most scenic areas of South Africa, starting at the magnificent Victoria Falls. From its starting point in Victoria Falls, the Pride of Africa heads south through Zimbabwe, across the plains of Botswana and into South Africa to its home at Pretoria, the capital city. (D)

Hwange National Park
Rise early this morning for a continental breakfast in the dining car, then disembark for a game drive at The Hide in Hwange National Park. Return to the train and travel between Dete and Gwaai along one of the world’s longest stretches of straight railway line before continuing on to Bulawayo, the second city of Zimbabwe and the industrial capital of the country. Rovos Rail Experience
Enjoy breakfast on board as the train departs Beitbridge, leaving baobab country, and travels in a southerly direction towards Polokwane. Lunch is served in the dining cars as the train crosses the Tropic of Capricorn and tea in the midway lounge car or observation car at the rear of the train. The train traverses Warmbaths, so named for its mineral waters, and Nylstroom. Dinner is served in the dining cars as the train passes the edge of the escarpment where the Highveld drops precipitously. (B,L,D)

Pretoria - Return
Enjoy your final breakfast on board before meeting your driver for a private transfer from the train station to Tambo Airport to continue on to your next destination. (B)
