Upon arrival, you will be met by your local representative for a private transfer to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore.

Deluxe and Boutique Class: Hotel Haven or similar accommodations

Today you will join your private walking tour of Helsinki visiting the historic center around the Senate building, the Presidential Palace, City Hall and the harbor. You will also have the opportunity to stroll through Esplanade Park and the most important shopping streets, the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma and, finally, Temppeliaukio Church. If time allows, you can continue to the Finlandia Hall and the Opera along the Toolonlahti seaside. (B)

Helsinki - Rovaniemi

Deluxe and Boutique Class: Arctic Treehouse Hotel or similar accommodations

Following breakfast, take your private transfer to the airport at the appropriate time for your flight to Rovaniemi (ticket not included). Upon arrival, you will take your shared trasfer to the Arctic Treehouse Hotel, your home for the next two nights. After check-in, you can use the rest of the day to explore Rovaniemi and experience its winter activities such as reindeer safaris, husky safaris and snowmobile safaris. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B,D)

Today you will have the full day at your leisure to explore the “capital” of Finnish Lapland. Don’t miss the opportunity for an optional visit to the famous Santa Claus Village to meet Santa. There is plenty to see and do in Rovaniemi, from simply enjoying your surroundings to partaking in fun-filled winter adventures. (B)

Rovaniemi - Kemi

Deluxe and Boutique Class: Arctic Snow Hotel and Glass Igloos or similar accommodations

After breakfast, you have the option to take a unique excursion on the Bothnian Sea. You will be transferred to Axelsvik port, located in Batskarsnas, to board an impressive ice breaker cruise and get ready for your three-hour sailing through the frozen waters of the Bothnian Sea. The ice breaker will stop en route for a chance to walk on the frozen surface of the water and, if you’re adventurous enough, you may even swim – in survival suits – in the frigid depths. After your cruise, you will be transferred to Kemi and your accommodation for the night, the Arctic Snow Hotel. (B)

Enjoy a final Scandinavian breakfast before your shared transfer to Kemi airport for your return flight home. (B)
