The Colorado State Capitol Building is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. An interesting fact about the building is that its interior is adorned with what is believed to be the entire known supply of Colorado Rose Onyx, a rare rose marble from a quarry near Beulah, Colorado. Coors Field

Denver's beloved Major League Baseball team, the Colorado Rockies plays home games in the heart of downtown Denver at Coors Field, which offers the nostalgic feel of a classic ballpark mixed with state-of-the-art technology. This old-timey brewery that goes way back to the days when Denver's beer brewing scene was only just coming into existence is the ideal place to pick and mix local beers. There is also the option to take a guided tour of the Great Divide Brewery itself which can be booked in advance.

Hi-Dive

Hi-Dive is a hip and happening venue offering cheap drinks and live music performances by both local and national artists ranging from punk to bluegrass. The musician owned Dive Bar/Rock Club has been inviting all sort of alternative styles through its doors since 2003 so it has gained quite a reputation amongst those who get off on crashing symbols, twanging strings and booming speakers.

Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret

Shake things up a bit with a trip to this extravagant cabaret, located in the historic D&F Clocktower in Denver’s hotel, shopping, and theatre district. The décor is corporeal, the cocktails are refreshing, the appetisers and desserts are mouthwatering, and the entertainment is dazzling. Because of its identity as a "pedestrian" mall, the 16th Street Mall is walker-friendly with an abundance of trees and plazas. Denver sits conveniently atop the route to the Rocky Mountains, making it a must-visit during the winter when the snow turns the area into a glistening marvel. There is a multitude of events going on around Christmas time as is an added incentive. For city exploration, the summers are best, with warm, yet not uncomfortably hot temperatures.

Passport & Visa

Citizens of Schengen Area countries, along with Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom, can visit the United States for up to 90 days without needing a visa, provided they obtain an approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before their trip. Denver International Airport (DEN)

Denver International Airport (DEN) is the primary airport serving the Denver area, located 24.4 miles (39.9 kilometres) northeast of downtown Denver. Ground transportation is available from the level 5 Jeppesen Terminal. SkyRide is a convenient and affordable bus service to and from Denver International Airport. Catch frequent SkyRide buses throughout the RTD service area at bus stops and at many Park-n-Rides. Buses run every day at 15-minute intervals, tickets may be purchased at RTD counters. Other available transportation includes taxi services, hotel shuttles, public buses, commuter shuttles, luxury limousines, mountain carriers, and charter buses.

In Denver, the Regional Transportation District (RTD) is responsible for managing public transportation. With over 170 bus routes, 12 rail lines, and a range of specialty services, RTD provides convenient and reliable transportation options for getting around the city. If you're planning to use public transportation throughout the day, consider purchasing a RTD day pass. These passes can be bought online or at various RTD retail outlets.

Taxi
