On top of the of Mount Osterfeldkopf. You can experience fresh air, breathtaking views, and the magnificant panorama. You can enjoy being on your own: watching mighty summits, and the vastness of it all. The AlpspiX is about 50 metres above the top station of the Alpspitzbahn Gondola. There are two steel platforms, both 13 metres long which cantilever over the abyss.

There is much to discover in Historic Garmisch. Walk along Frühlingsstraße and the nearby alleys and listen to the histories told by the famous "Lüftl" paintings on the houses' facades, in which you will understand them even if you do not know any Bavarian. The founder of the Aschenbrenner Museum, Marianne Aschenbrenner, was born in 1928 in Düsseldorf. She told, that once she got a book about porcelain - and she was stoked. Now you can admire this special art: porcelain, which was called 'White Gold' in the 18th century, puppets and much more.

There are very much old churches in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen which are worth a visit. For example, there's the Sebastianskircherl.
