Details for Hella

Located in South Iceland, Hella’s history dates back to Iceland’s earliest days. Sitting by the river Ytri-Ranga, it was a source of fresh water and a wealth of salmon for the first settlers to come here. Still, Hella’s River is great for salmon fishing! The area is most famous for Icelandic horse breeding as well as dog sledging.
