Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a panoramic Seine cruise this afternoon.

Explore Paris

This morning, join a small group tour of Paris. Discover the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, the Opera, the Galeries Lafayette, the Champs Elysees, and the Trocadero. We suggest you join an optional small group visit of the Louvre Museum with its stunning collection of paintings, sculptures, and architecture, in the afternoon. (B)

Paris – Dijon
First Class: Philippe Le Bon or similar accommodations
This morning, make your own way to the Paris train station and travel by TGV train to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy's wine region. Upon arrival, make your own way to your hotel. In the afternoon, consider visiting the Musée des Beaux Arts, located in the Palace of the Dukes and States of Burgundy, on your own. (B)

Explore Burgundy
First Class: Philippe Le Bon or similar accommodations
After breakfast, join a tour to discover the Cote de Nuits, nicknamed the Champs Elysees of Burgundy. Appellations and terroir will reveal all their secrets to you including the exceptional Premier Cru or Grand Cru. Your tour includes a cellar visit and wine tasting and free time in Beaune. The afternoon is free to discover Dijon, the historic capital of the Dukes of Valois and one of the most artistically significant French cities. (B)

Dijon – Avignon
First Class: Grand Hotel Avignon or similar accommodations
Superior First Class: Cloitre St Louis or similar accommodations
This morning, make your own way to the Dijon train station and catch your train to to historic Avignon. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to explore this walled city. Consider visiting the Pope’s Palace, the biggest and most beautiful Gothic palace in the world and classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO, on your own. (B)

Explore Provence
First Class: Grand Hotel Avignon or similar accommodations
Superior First Class: Cloitre St Louis or similar accommodations
This morning, join your tour of Provence. Drive along picturesque roads through olive groves, vineyards, and fields to see some of the most beautiful villages in Luberon. Visit the village of Roussillon which is famous for its red and yellow ochre cliffs. Continue to Gordes one of the most beautiful villages in France, completely made with dry stones. Return to Avignon in the early afternoon. (B)

Avignon – Return
After breakfast, make your own way to the Avignon train station for your return to Paris (train ticket not included) or to continue your trip to Nice on the Côte d'Azur. (B)
