From Bremen to the whole world: Beck's beer, probably Bremen's most successful export, in its distinctive green bottles, is still produced in the city centre. Have a look around the museum, and then follow the guide past the ingredients store and brew house, the malt silos and the fermentation and storage tanks. Traditional coffee roasters since 1935 – that's what the name Münchhausen repre-sents. The Stephaniviertel district is still home to this traditional Bremen company, which prides itself on using authentic methods to roast coffee beans. Münchhausen is the last of Bremen's original coffee companies and is still resident in the heart of the city. A visit here will tell you so much about the history of coffee and the processes involved in its cultivation and processing. The tour will also show you how coffee beans are roasted.
