1
Arrival - Kyoto
Welcome to Kyoto! Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, you will be greeted and transferred privately to your selected hotel. After settling in, begin your discovery of Kyoto with a leisurely stroll through the historic Gion District, renowned for its traditional wooden machiya houses and geisha culture. Visit the atmospheric Yasaka Shrine, one of Kyoto’s most revered Shinto shrines, before continuing to explore the charming streets lined with tea houses. In the evening, treat yourself to an exquisite kaiseki dinner, showcasing Kyoto’s refined multi-course cuisine. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a Maiko or Geiko (Geisha).

Kyoto
After breakfast, embark on a full day of discovery. Visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, renowned for its sweeping views over Kyoto, and continue through the charming streets of the Higashiyama District, filled with traditional shops and tea houses. Your next stop is the Fushimi Inari Shrine, where you will walk through thousands of iconic red torii gates along the forested pathways. In the afternoon, explore the tranquil Nanzen-ji Temple and take a peaceful stroll along the Philosopher’s Path before visiting Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion), a Zen temple with beautiful gardens. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Kyoto
Today, visit the scenic Arashiyama District. Start your morning with a walk through the famous Bamboo Grove and explore Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For a unique experience, visit the Iwatayama Monkey Park, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city and see the local wildlife. Your day concludes with a visit to the iconic Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), a stunning temple adorned in gold leaf. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Kyoto - Departure
After breakfast, visit the historic Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former residence of Japan’s shoguns. Take a guided tour of the castle’s interiors and beautiful gardens. Then, head to Nishiki Market, Kyoto’s lively culinary marketplace, to sample local specialties and shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time before your private transfer to Kyoto Station for your onward journey.
