Explore Lima

Join a morning sightseeing tour, which explores Lima's modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, as well as its historic center including Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, City Hall, and the Cathedral. Stop at the chocolate museum before continuing to the Convent of Santo Domingo. The last stop of the tour will be Love Park, inspired by the Güell Park of Barcelona. The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Lima - Cusco - Sacred Valley

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco (not included). Upon arrival (by 7 am), you will be met for a full-day tour of the Sacred Valley. Start your day with a visit of the Inca's Balcony in Chinchero, a beautiful place with an impressive view where 12 families still preserve their traditional customs, showing you the ancestral way in which they process wool, and obtain those vivid colors for their textiles. Continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquistadors lost a major battle. Very well known for its "andenes" (terraces dug into the slopes of mountains for agricultural purposes), Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress that also served as a temple. (B)

Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu

A small coach will take you to the Ollanta train station to start your 1.5-hour train journey through the Sacred Valley to the legendary ancient citadel of Machu Picchu. On arrival, a small coach will take you up the steep roads to the entrance of the citadel. Visit one of the great wonders of the world. It will be an unforgettable experience. A professional guide will tell you about the history of this mysterious and charming place. After some free time to explore the area on your own, descent to Aguas Calientes. (B)

Machu Picchu - Cusco

This morning you will have the option to visit Machu Picchu for a second time on your own or you can relax and explore Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, return by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollanta. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco. (B)
