London - Arrival

First Class: Holiday Inn Kensington or similar accommodations

Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, meet with your driver and guide in the lobby to begin your panoramic city highlights tour of London. Discover iconic landmarks, architectural and cultural diversity, and fascinating history that make London one of the most visited cities in the world. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and drink at your hotel. (D)

Discover London

First Class: Holiday Inn Kensington or similar accommodations

Today you will visit Kensington Palace, the residence of the British Royal Family since the 17th century and currently houses several members of the royal family. The State Rooms are open to the public and the palace offers many exhibits incorporating cutting-edge digital presentations, interactive experiences and even audio sequences that bring to life the gatherings of gowns, antique furniture and other memorabilia. The remainder of your day is yours at leisure to explore London. You may wish to take advantage of London’s renowned theater performances with a show at West End Theater. (B)

Stonehenge & Bath

Today, you will travel from London to Cardiff. As you travel through one of England’s most historical areas, enjoy an en route visit to Stonehenge. Continue to the old Roman city of Bath to visit the Roman Baths. Upon arrival to Cardiff, enjoy a panoramic tour and discover old sites such as Cardiff Castle alongside the contemporary architecture of Cardiff Bay. Tonight, experience true Welsh hospitality with a night of Welsh entertainment, food and the warmest hosts who will entertain with a selection of traditional and contemporary songs in English and Welsh within Cardiff Castle. Brecon Beacons National Park & Chester

First Class: Pullman Hotel Liverpool or similar accommodations

Depart Cardiff and enjoy a scenic drive through Brecon Beacons National Park for a stunning mixture of peaks and rolling hills for miles. Enjoy some free time in the town of Hayon-Wye, a market town known as the “Town of Books.” Stop among the black and white timbered homes of Shrewsbury for lunch (not included) then continue to Chester for your guided walking tour. Here you’ll discover a trove of Roman, medieval and Tudor architecture and history. Arrive in Liverpool this evening and check-in to your hotel. (B)

This morning you’ll visit The Beatles Story to discover everything you will ever need to know about the world’s greatest rock band. Explore the lives, careers and times of The Beatles form their childhoods to world domination through fascinating exhibits and interactive themed areas. Leave Liverpool and head north through the Lake District, England’s largest National Park and home to 16 lakes and Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England. Today, discover Edinburgh, the inspiring capital of Scotland. Start with a panoramic city highlights tour from the historical Old Town to the wide avenues of the New Town. Later, visit Edinburgh Castle, seated atop an extinct volcano, allowing stunning views over the city. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to join an optional evening of traditional Scottish song and dance, not to mention quality Scottish cuisine, at the Spirit of Scotland Show. (B)

Hadrian's Wall & York Minster

Travel from Edinburgh back to Northern England via the Scottish Borders with a stop en route to witness the ruins of Hadrian’s Wall. Buitl in 122 A.D. by Roman Emporer Hadrian, the purpose of this defensive structure was to keep the “barbarians” to the north. Continue to the historic city of York, a Roman garrison town, Viking stronghold and prosperous medieval city. Join your walking tour along the medieval city walls and wind your way through the narrow passages of the medieval Shambles. Tonight, you have the option of dinner at a traditional pub in York. (B)

Stratford-upon-Avon & The Cotswolds

Depart York for London with a stop en route at the birthplace of the world’s most famous writer, William Shakespeare. Honey-colored limestone houses, historical market towns and rolling green hills represent an unspoiled idyll of quintessential England.
