1

Maun - Okavango Delta

First Class Safari Lodge: Moremi Crossing Safari Lodge or similar accommodations

Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, board a charter flight to the Okavango Delta (not included). Considered one of nature's masterpieces, the Okavango Delta offers an insight into one of Africa's truly great wildernesses. Protected by the Moremi Game Reserve and numerous private wildlife concessions, the Okavango Delta is home to huge numbers of elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, giraffe and zebra.The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore. Explore the Okavango Delta

First Class Safari Lodge: Moremi Crossing Safari Lodge or similar accommodations

Spend a full day relaxing and enjoying this beautiful oasis that creates a haven for Africa’s most celebrated wildlife. Alternatively, enjoy optional activities such as mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, bush walks and boat cruises. (B,L,D)

Okavango Delta - Gweta

First Class Safari Lodge: Planet Baobab or similar accommodations

After breakfast, board a charter flight to Maun (not included), from where the journey continues to the endless, white saltpans of Botswana. The shimmering salt pans of Makgadikgadi along with the Nxai Pans are believed to be the largest in the world. The pans are the remains of a once ancient lake that now forms part of the route of Southern Africa's largest remaining migration. During the rainy season, the pans are one of the most important wetland areas in Botswana, coming alive with water birds and great herds of game. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure. (B,D)

Discover the Ntwetwe Pan

First Class Safari Lodge: Planet Baobab or similar accommodations

Explore the Ntwetwe Pan with a local guide that will explain the incredible adaptations of the species that are unique to the Kalahari Desert environment. Wander the surrounds in search of bat eared foxes, ground squirrels and other unique desert species and learn of their incredible struggle against the elements of Africa's harshest wilderness. Get up close and personal with a resident gang of habituated meerkats (weather permitting) to see how these incredibly social, superbly adapted animals interact with each other and their environment. Gweta - Chobe National Park

After a breathtaking experience in Makgadikgadi, it’s time to continue to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Travel through the small village of Nata, well known for its cattle farming and the Basarwa Tribe, which make up approximately 75% of the resident population, also known as the Bushmen or San. Not far from the village is the Nata Bird Sanctuary, a community project with some 165 bird species recorded in the area. Continue via a route referred to as the 'game drive route', as there is always a possibility of seeing wildlife along the way. (B,D)

Chobe National Park

Enjoy a thrilling morning open vehicle game drive in the Chobe National Park, the second largest in Botswana, known for its superb game viewing all year round, as it has one of the largest populations of game on the African continent. Join a breathtaking afternoon sunset cruise, in search of magnificent wildlife sightings. (B,D)

Chobe – Kasane - Return

After breakfast, you will be transferred from the lodge to Kasane airport to continue on to your next destination. (B)
