Welcome to Quito! Upon arrival at Mariscal Sucre Quito International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and will be driven approximately 1 to 1 and a half hours to the accommodation of your choice. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Your journey begins in Quito, the captivating capital of Ecuador. Choose to immerse yourself in history with a City Colonial Tour, where you'll wander the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, visit iconic sites like the Independence Square and the Cathedral, and delve into the city's colonial past. Alternatively, opt for a full-day Quito City Tour and Equatorial Line experience, where you'll not only explore the city's historic gems but also straddle the northern and southern hemispheres at the Equator Monument, complete with a delicious lunch. Or, embark on a day trip to the bustling Otavalo Market, a colorful tapestry of indigenous culture, artisan crafts, and vibrant textiles. Quito - Yasuni

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver and English-speaking assistant for the approximate 1 to 1-and-a-half-hour transfer to Mariscal Sucre Quito International Airport for your flight to the Amazon! Upon your arrival to Francisco de Orellana Airport, you will be met by your private driver and English-speaking assistant to take you to your accommodation in Yasuni. Then get ready for a boat trip on the largest Ecuadorian affluent of the Amazon, the Napo River. Get a taste of the Amazon's ancestral communities and native birds before settling in and taking advantage of the rest of your day's excursions.

Yasuni

Today consider exploring the tree tops from a 36 meter (118 ft.) observation tower where over 565 species of birds reside, as well as monkeys and sloths. Enjoy more bird-watching later in the day or just relax in your jungle getaway. If you want to get lost in nature for a few hours, you can hike Chorongo or Coto to discover the relationship among the different living creatures and the role they play in this complex ecosystem, or take a night walk to see the insects, spiders and frogs come to life.

Enjoy the day in the Amazon observing a natural land slide where hundreds of parrots fly overhead and continue walking on the south of the Yasuni´ for a wonderful view of flora and fauna, considered to be the most biodiverse area in the world! A visit to the Amazon would not be complete without visiting the local communities in the area. Visit a native house and get a taste of how a typical Kichwa family lives by enjoying the food, drinks, customs, and culture of the Sani community, and also learning how their lifestyle is environmentally sustainable.

Explore the depths of Yasuni National Park for close encounters with an array of wildlife from wooly monkeys to tapirs and peccaries.
