Athens – Arrival

Tourist Class: Polis Grand Hotel or similar accommodations

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this historic city.

2

Athens – Delphi – Meteora

Tourist Class: Orfeas Hotel or similar accommodations

Depart in the morning by coach for Delphi. Visit the archaeological site and enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Continue to Kalambaka in the afternoon passing through picturesque villages and towns. Settle at your hotel upon arrival for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Meteora – Athens

Tourist Class: Polis Grand Hotel or similar accommodations

This morning, visit Meteora and enjoy the impressive scenery of the monasteries standing atop huge rock formations. These ageless monasteries contain priceless historical and religious treasures. You will return to Athens late in the evening after a short stop in Thermopylae to visit Leonida’s monument. (B)

Athens – (Hydra, Poros & Aegina)

Tourist Class: Polis Grand Hotel or similar accommodations

Today, we recommend you join a 1-day cruise to the nearby islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. You will travel by catamaran and have enough time on each island to discover the most important highlights. Lunch is served aboard and you will return to Athens early in the evening. (B)

Explore Athens

Tourist Class: Polis Grand Hotel or similar accommodations

Today, enjoy a tour of Athens including an overview of the modern city and the classical sights. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Panathenian Stadium, see vistas of the Presidential Palace, Hadrian's Arch, the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the Temple of Nike. Visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Parthenon, and the Acropolis Museum. The remainder of the day is at leisure or consider joining an optional tour to Cape Sounion. (B)
