Today you have the day at your leisure to explore the resort island of Mykonos. You may consider joining an optional gastronomy tour featuring the cuisine of Chora. For three hours, you will be shown the famous monuments of the island as well has enjoy the opportunity to discover some of the hidden gems of Chora. You will visit pastry shops, including a hidden, underground bakery. (B)

Spend the day relaxing on the beach and swimming in the clear waters of the Cyclades. We recommend considering a private cruise through those turquoise waters to Delos Island, the most ancient archaeological site, and Rhinia Island. (B)

Meet your driver and transfer to Mykonos port (shared) to board your high-speed ferry to Crete. Meet with your driver for a transfer (shared) to your hotel. The largest of all the Greek Isles, Crete is a spectacular example of what the Mediterranean has to offer. Here you can explore the lively contemporary cities of Heraklion or Chania, visit traditional villages, tour the Palace at Knossos or simply unwind on a quiet beach. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure to explore. (B)

We recommend taking today for an optional visit to the ruins of ancient Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Museum. Take a rare glimpse into Minoan civilization as you explore the ruins of what is arguably Europe’s oldest city. Later, visit the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion to see ancient relics dating back to the Minoan period. (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then consider an optional visit to a local winery. Set high on gently rolling hillsides, surrounded by vineyards, this local winery is the perfect spot to enjoy a tasting of the estate’s premium wines. While here, you will also enjoy a typical Cretan lunch. (B)
