Enjoy a relaxing overnight flight to Athens.

Arrival in Athens
First Class: Herodion or similar accommodations
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink at the hotel. You have the rest of the day free to explore this historic city and visit the Acropolis Museum included in your program.

Explore Athens
First Class: Herodion or similar accommodations
Join your morning walking tour of Athens, including a visit to the Acropolis. This afternoon, enjoy a complimentary half-day Cape Sounion tour along the Athenian Riviera—a truly spectacular coastline. (B)

Athens – Nafplion
First Class: Nafplia Palace or similar accommodations
Drive across the Corinth Canal for a visit to the archaeological site of Mycenae and the Epidaurus theatre. Continue to picturesque Nafplion, Greece’s first capital, for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Nafplion – Olympia
First Class: Arty Grand or similar accommodations
Your trip will take you to Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games, for a comprehensive tour of the local site including the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the archaeological museum. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore the local village. (B,D)

Olympia – Delphi – Arachova
First Class: Anemolia or similar accommodations
You will continue north through the Achaia plains and cross from Rion to Antirion on a new, “state of the art” suspended bridge, considered to be the longest in Europe. Upon arrival in Delphi you will visit the famous archaeological site and the local museum. You will continue to the picturesque village of Arachova for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Arachova – Meteora
First Class: Divani Meteora or similar accommodations
This morning you will depart for Kalambaka, a small town located at the foot of Meteora. You will stop at a local winery near the city of Trikala where you will enjoy some local wines and learn about the production of different wines. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore Kalambaka before dinner. (B,D)

Meteora – Athens
First Class: Herodion or similar accommodations
This morning you will visit Meteora’s stunning monasteries precariously balanced on towering rock columns. You will return to Athens in the late afternoon. (B)
