This morning you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby to begin your full day exploring the Great Pyramids and their guardian, the Sphinx. Explore the wonders of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos and the mysteries within their chambers. Following some free time for lunch, you will continue your afternoon with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, housing treasures from the pre-dynastic period to the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms of Pharaonic Egypt. DonÕt miss the famous exhibit of Tut Ankhamon and the royal mummy room during your visit. This evening, you may return to your hotel or take an optional camel ride at sunset to the Great Pyramids, followed by a Bedoin Dinner. You may also consider watching the Sound and Light Show, performed on the side of the Giza Pyramids. (B)

Following breakfast, meet your driver at your hotel for a private transfer to the airport for your short flight to Abu Simbel via Aswan (ticket included). Upon arrival in Abu Simbel, you will be transferred to your Lake Nasser cruise for lunch on board. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous temples of Ramses, the Abu Simbel temples, built by Ramses II for his Nubian wife Nefertari. Return to your cruise ship for a welcome cocktail, followed by a candlelight dinner on board. Tonight, you have the option to enjoy another Sound and Light Show at the Abu Simbel temples. (B,L,D)

Those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel might enjoy an optional, early morning visit to the temples. Otherwise, enjoy breakfast at your hotel as it continues to sail to Kasr Ibrim, established during the Late Period of Ancient Egypt. Your guide will enlighten you from the deck of your ship, as entrance to the site is not permitted. Enjoy lunch as you sail to Amada to visit the Temple of Amada, the Temple of Derr and the Tomb of Pennut. Later, enjoy a relaxing sail to Wadi El Seboua and dinner on board. (B,L,D)

Enjoy a morning visit to Wadi El Seboua, the Temples of Dakka and Meharakka Wadi es Sebua Temple, located on the east bank of Lake Nasser. Spend some time exploring the temples, built by Ramses II, before returning to your ship for lunch on board. Continue your sailing to Aswan with dinner on board. (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will explore some of the major highlights of Aswan. Start with the Kalabsha Temple, a Nubian temple rescued from the rising waters of the Nile in 1960. During your tour, you will also have time to see Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Following your tour, you will disembark your cruise and transfer to your hotel in Aswan for the remainder of the evening and dinner at your leisure. This afternoon, you have the option to visit a local Nubian village by a traditional Egyptian felucca. (B)

Take some time for breakfast before meeting your driver for a private transfer to Luxor, passing through Kom Ombo and Edfu en route. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening and dinner at your leisure. (B)

Those early risers may consider an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor for a totally new perspective on the East and West Banks. Today will be a full day tour of the East and West Banks of Luxor. First, visit the Valley of the Kings, once part of ancient Thebes and the burial site for pharaohs. Next, visit the Valley of the Queens, another ancient royal necropolis where the wives of the great pharaohs were laid to rest. This afternoon you will visit the temple complex of Karnak, dedicated to the Triade of Amun. Finally, visit Luxor Temple, located on the East Bank of the Nile. (B)
