Meet your guide at your hotel for a private drive to the ancient capital of Egypt. During the 1st Dynasty, Memphis served as Egypt’s capital, after King Menes had united Upper and Lower Egypt. You can see the famous Alabaster Sphinx and the magnificently carved statue of Ramses II. Leave Memphis for Sakkara to witness the first massive stone edifice known to history, followed by a visit to the carpet school. (B)

Meet your guide at your hotel for a private drive to experience a fantastic journey back in time to the days of the Pharaohs. You will take a boat trip along the canals, observing exact reproductions of ancient Egyptian buildings, clothing, and lifestyles portrayed by costumed actors. You will take to land where a guide will explain about the temple and tombs on the island. Visit the Pharaonic Village, witness a replica village of ancient Egypt, see reenactments of ancient Egyptian life, observe how the Pharaohs would have lived, and learn about the various temples and tombs around the island.
