Dublin Airport - Arrival

Upon arrival to the Airport, enjoy a private transfer in a luxury executive vehicle to your city center hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a Viking Splash Tour of Dublin, a fun-filled and engaging tour which takes in the top sights of Dublin going from land to water and back again.The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Dublin- Malahide and Howth Half Day Private Tour

Deluxe Class: The Merrion Hotel Dublin or similar accommodations

First Class: The Alex Hotel Dublin or similar accommodations

Today your driver guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast and your family will enjoy a half day private tour of the seaside towns of Malahide and Howth, including a private guided tour of Malahide Castle and Gardens. Upon your return to the city center, your driver guide will drop you at the EPIC Emigration Museum where you will enjoy a self-guided tour in the afternoon. EPIC is the world’s only fully digital museum experience and is hugely interactive, making it educational and great fun for the whole family. The museum is a short walk from your hotel so you will make your own way back when you are done. In the evening, enjoy dinner at The Merry Ploughboy Pub with a highly entertaining live performance of Irish music, song and dancing. (B)

Dublin- Kerry

Today, pick up your car rental and depart from Dublin. Make your way to Killarney Co. Kerry, stopping at the world famous Blarney Castle along the way. Blarney Castle is one of Ireland’s oldest and most historic castles and is famous for the Blarney Stone. It is believed that if you kiss the Blarney Stone – The Stone of Eloquence – the gift of eloquence (known in Ireland as the ‘gift of the gab’) will be bestowed on you. Upon arrival in Killarney, check-in to your town center hotel for 3 nights. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. (B)

Kerry- Kayaking Tour on Killarney’s Lakes

This morning you will enjoy a different perspective of Killarney by taking part in a guided kayaking tour on Killarney’s lakes. In the afternoon, your jaunting car will meet you at your hotel and take you on a private horse and carriage ride through Killarney National Park to Ross’ Castle. (B)

Kerry- Dingle Peninsula

Today your family will enjoy a self-guided tour of the Dingle Peninsula in Co. Kerry. The Dingle Peninsula was once famous for the 1970 movie Ryan’s Daughter, however is now better known for the 2015 Star Wars movie – The Force Awakens. Besides spectacular scenery, the Dingle Peninsula is also historically significant with a variety of archaeological monuments such as beehive huts and ogham stones. Dingle is also a Gaeltacht area of Ireland where locals prefer to speak the traditional Irish language. Make sure to stop in the town of Dingle for some traditional food and Murphy’s ice-cream. (B)

Killarney- Galway

This morning you will depart from Killarney and make your way north too Galway City. Along the way, visit the stunning Cliffs of Moher and Burren National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Caherconnell Stone Fort and enjoy a sheepdog demonstration. Upon arrival in Galway, check-in to your hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Self-Guided Day Trip to Inis Mor

Deluxe Class: Glenlo Abbey Hotel or similar accommodations

First Class: The Galmont Hotel or similar accommodations

Escape the hustle bustle of city life today and enjoy a day trip to Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands. Head to the port town of Rossaveal and catch the 45-minute ferry to Inis Mor. Upon arrival on the pier in Kilronan, collect your rented bicycles and go explore! You will receive a map with your bike hire but we recommend that you visit Dun Aengus whilst on the island. Dun Aengus is a pre-Christian fort perched on the side of a cliff above the Atlantic Ocean. Other places of interest include a seal colony, the ‘seven churches’ and the locally named ‘wormhole’. (B)

Dublin or Shannon Airport- Return

After breakfast at the hotel, head back to Dublin or Shannon airport (depending on your chosen flights) where you  will return your car rental and continue on to your next destination. (B)
