Take the City Sightseeing Bus Tour for a guided sightseeing tour of the highlights of Edinburgh including the Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile and Princes Street lined with world renowned quality shops. Afternoon is free for shopping or wandering around Edinburgh. Dinner and overnight in Edinburgh.(B,D)

Linlithgow Palace
Pick up your rental car and travel west to the ruins of Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots continue to Bannockburn Battle where Robert the Bruce (Braveheart) was defeated by the English. Spend time in the medieval city of Stirling. Continue through the mountain scenery of the Grampians to Braemar to visit Braemar Castle or the Queens Summer residence of Balmoral. Continue to Aberdeen for overnight and dinner.(B,D)

Follow the Spey Valley Whisky Trail taking in a distillery visit and tasting. Enjoy visiting the many castles in the area Crathes, Frazer or Craiginvar. Return for dinner and overnight in Aberdeen. (B,D)

Elgin–Inverness
Head north to Elgin, passing through working fishing villages, visit the ruins of the ‘Lantern of the North’, once the most spectacular cathedral in Scotland. Visit the magnificent Brodie Castle and the historic battle of Culloden. Continue onto Inverness, the capital of the Highlands for dinner and overnight.(B,D)

Travel through Highland scenery to the west coast to visit the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle. Cross the toll bridge ‘over the sea to Skye’ and tour along the coast road through the Cuillin Hills to the island’s capital, Portree to explore the shops, fishing harbor and craft centers, overnight and dinner in Inverness.(B,D)

Loch Ness- Fort William
Travel along the banks of Loch Ness, home of the famous monster ‘Nessie’ and onto the ruin of Urquhart Castle before proceeding to Fort William. Continue through Glencoe across wild Rannoch Moor continue along “the bonnie banks” of Loch Lomond to Glasgow, for dinner and overnight.(B,D)
