1

Frankfurt - the Rhine -Nürburgring - Frankfurt

Deluxe and Superior First ...: Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof or similar accommodations

Upon arrival, pick up your rental car at the airport and head for the famous Rhine River. After a short visit to Rüdesheim and its famous Drosselgasse Street, embark on a boat and travel to St. Goar along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine River, the Lorelei. From here, continue to Nürburgring to experience a real speed legend, the Nordschleife, one of the most challenging tracks for any motor sport fan. Try your hand behind the wheel or co-pilot with a professional driver. Fresh off your adrenaline rush, head back to Frankfurt for dinner at your leisure.

Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Stuttgart

In the morning you travel to Heidelberg. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. Consider a visit to Heidelberg Castle (entry not included), an exceptional combination of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, or walk through the medieval old town to admire the bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirits. In the afternoon, continue to Stuttgart. (B)

The Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums

Stuttgart is not only home to the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, it is also one of the greenest cities in Europe with a beautiful historic center. After breakfast, car lovers are treated to a very special visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, which displays more than 1,400 different Mercedes Benz models. Next visit the Porsche Museum, with over 80 vehicles and located immediately next to the Porsche headquarters. Here you can see iconic Porsche models as well as some of Professor Ferdinand Porsche’s most outstanding technical achievements. (B)

Stuttgart – Füssen

Continue the trip to Füssen and visit the most famous castle in Germany, Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Luis II, the famous “Mad King.” Many may recognize this fairy-tale structure as the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle. Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th century Romanesque revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau, near Füssen, in southwest Bavaria. Your tour of the castle will start with the Lower Hall. On the walls are illustrations from the Old Norse saga "Edda," a collection of sagas, songs and sayings. Marble portals open into the Throne Room on the west side and the royal apartments on the opposite side. The rooms on the second floor were never finished and, today, house a shop, a cafeteria and a multimedia room. After the guided tour, which ends on the second floor, the historic kitchen on the ground floor can be viewed. (B)

Füssen – Oberammergau - Munich

In the morning head for Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Plays, lovely crafts and storybook painted houses. Continue to Munich and enjoy a private panoramic city tour of the capital of Bavaria. Visit the gardens of the Palace of the Nymphs, the birthplace of King Ludwig II, and the Marienplatz, dominated by the magnificent neo-Gothic City Hall. (B)

The BMW Museum

Deluxe and Superior First ...: Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski or similar accommodations

Today will be entirely dedicated to the BMW brand. Visit the BMW Museum, one of the most high-tech museums in the world, with a collection of automobiles, engines, and motorcycles, as well as some quirky futuristic models. Experience the exciting world of BMW, a center of interactive activities. Another option is to visit the Audi Museum in Ingolstadt in the afternoon (admission not included). (B)

Munich - Rothenburg- Frankfurt - Return

After breakfast, travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany and home to the year-round Christmas Market and Museum. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town before returning to Frankfurt. (B)
