We suggest that you book an optional tour today and cruise the Bosphorus. Enjoy this magical city from the sea and sail past the Golden Horn forming a natural harbor which sheltered Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman ships for thousands of years. (B)

In the morning, join your a small group full-day sightseeing tour and explore Istanbul’s imperial heritage including the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome Underground Cistern, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. (B,L)

Finish any last minute shopping today or take an optional private tour of the local museums. Visit the Istanbul Archaeological Museum with its impressive Alexander the Great Sarcophagus, Museum of the Ancient Orient and the Tiled Kiosk of Sultan Mehmet with its fine ceramic collection, the Underground Cistern with its Medusa heads and weeping columns or the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts. You will be transferred early in the morning to the airport for your flight to Kayseri in Cappadocia (included). Upon arrival you will visit in a small group tour the Rose Valley, and explore the famous rock-cut churches. You will have lunch in Cavusin, an old Greek village, known for its Christian houses and churches. In the afternoon you will visit Kaymakli Underground City and the panoramic Pigeon Valley. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L)

Today join your small group tour to visit Devrent Valley with its Fairy Chimneys and Pasabagi. Drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. After lunch you will proceed to Goreme Open Air Museum to visit the churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the rock. (B,L)
