Cappadocia, Istanbul

From early Christian pilgrims to Roman soldiers, Silk Road merchants to orientalist writers, sailors and European aristocrats, many traveled to Asia Minor, fascinated by the diverse heritage. Travel diaries were written about this place long before Turkey became a hit-holiday destination for sun and culture-seekers. Turkey is ready to delight visitors with its mysterious past, an Odyssey of authentic cuisine developed over 500 years and amazes with historical imprints which capture the stories of time. From splendid natural harbors on the Mediterranean Coast to thousand-year-old Anatolian landscapes, Turkey is the cradle of civilization where ancient temples rise.
