Enjoy a relaxing overnight flight from IAD (TK008) to Istanbul.

Istanbul – Arrival
Deluxe & Superior: Conrad Hotel Istanbul or similar accommodations
You will be transferred to your hotel in Istanbul upon arrival. The rest of the day is at leisure until you meet your tour director for a welcome briefing.

Explore Istanbul

A day tour to include: St. Sophia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Tonight welcome dinner (B,D)

Morning sightseeing tour of Topkapi Palace Museum, residence of the Ottoman Sultans between 1453–1852 (excluding harem). Afternoon visit some local hotels. (B,L)

Istanbul – Gallipoli – Canakkale
Deluxe & Superior: Kolin Hotel or similar accommodations
In the morning depart for Gallipoli, the site of many battles during WWI. Visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery and then drive to Canakkale for overnight. (B,D)

Troy – Pergamum – Izmir
Deluxe & Superior: Swissotel Grand Efes or similar accommodations
Morning visit Troy with its famous wooden horse, best known for being the setting of the Trojan War and many cities built on top of each other , and later continue to a traditional local village for lunch with locals, afternoon the ancient Medical Center Asclepion in Pergamum, Dinner and Overnight in Izmir. (B,L,D)

Ephesus & Virgin Mary’s House – Izmir

Today tour the ruins of Ephesus, the Virgin Mary's cottage, the 2,000 year old marble streets, a theater, the library of Celsius, and Hadrian's Temple. Overnight in Izmir. (B,D)
