Arrival - Luxor
Welcome to Luxor! Upon arrival at Luxor International Airport, you'll be greeted by your private driver who will transport you to your chosen accommodation, a journey of approximately 25 minutes. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore at your leisure. In the evening, consider attending the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. This captivating show brings the history of ancient Thebes to life through dramatic lighting, music, and narration.

Luxor - Discover West Bank Treasures
Embark on a private half-day tour of Luxor's West Bank to explore its renowned treasures. Begin with the imposing Colossi of Memnon, towering 60 feet and weighing over 700 tons each. Next, delve into the Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs and nobles were entombed. Visit three open tombs and witness ongoing excavations led by renowned archaeologist Kent Weeks. Conclude your tour with a visit to the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, honoring Queen Hatshepsut, one of Ancient Egypt's longest-reigning female pharaohs. Admire the temple's stunning architecture, considered one of the most beautiful in Ancient Egypt. In the late afternoon, consider an optional leisurely horse and carriage ride through Luxor, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds of the city in a unique and traditional way.

For an unforgettable experience, consider an early morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor and its surrounding archaeological sites, offering a breathtaking view from above (weather permitting). Explore Luxor's monumental sites today, starting with the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple. Wander through its massive hypostyle hall and labyrinthine passageways, and don't forget to encircle the giant Scarab for good luck. Visit the Karnak Open-Air Museum to see the black statue of Sekhmet, the fierce warrior goddess. Next, discover the impressive Luxor Temple, particularly stunning in the evening when illuminated. Dedicated to the Theban Triad, it showcases the grandeur of the New Kingdom period, with highlights including Ramses II's pylon, obelisks, and statues. In the afternoon, consider visiting the Luxor Museum to see a stunning collection of artifacts from the region's rich history.

Luxor – Departure
After checking out of your hotel, meet your private driver for the approximately 25-minute transfer back to Luxor International Airport. Here, you'll check in for your onward flight, taking with you wonderful memories of your time in Luxor.
