Zurich - Arrival - Lucerne

Superior Tourist Class: Altstadt Hotel Krone or similar accommodations

Upon arrival you will retrieve your travel documents at the SBB ticket counter in the airport and travel by train to Lucerne. Famous for its medieval bridge, Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Make sure to visit the historic city center with its colorful buildings. Overnight in Lucerne.

Mt. Titlis Day Trip

First Class: Ameron Hotel Flora or similar accommodations

Superior Tourist Class: Altstadt Hotel Krone or similar accommodations

At noon, enjoy a regular excursion to Mt. Titlis, one of the highest mountain peaks in the Lucerne area. From Engleberg, ascend on the rotating Rotair cable car. The view of the glacier and the Central Alps is truly breathtaking. In the afternoon, return to Lucerne for your overnight. (B)

Travel across the Swiss Alps aboard the Golden Pass Line train. Pass the city of Interlaken, nestled between the lakes of Thun and Brienz, and popular with mountaineers who come to explore the famous mountains of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Later, leave the Alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland behind and arrive at the Swiss Riviera. World renowned for its jazz festival, Montreux is beautifully located on Lake Geneva. In the morning you are free to explore Montreux or to visit the picturesque Chillon castle for an optional tour. Continue on to Tasch, near Zermatt, the most famous town in the Swiss Alps. (B)

Gornergrat and Zermatt Day Trip

Only a 12-minute train ride from Tasch is Zermatt, the Alpine resort village known for skiing, pedestrian streets and exceptional beauty. Later, continue to Gornergrat to enjoy spectacular views of one of the most famous mountains in the world, Monte Cervino or Matterhorn. Return to Zermatt for free time to explore the town then return to Tasch in the afternoon for your overnight stay. (B)

Tasch - Zermatt - Chur - Zurich

You will have an early departure to board the Glacier Express in Zermatt. Sit back in the comfortable panorama rail car and enjoy the spectacular views of the Swiss Alps. In Chur, you will board a regular train to Zurich where you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
